FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
JANUARY 24, 2011 — Wichita, Kansas — Midnight Ryder Technologies and the Great Plains Renaissance Festival today announced Midnight Ryder Technologies is to become the first sponsor for the Kansas Authors’ Pavilion portion of the long standing twice a year Wichita event.
In 2010, the Great Plains Renaissance Festival introduced a new portion of thier event, the Kansas Authors’ Pavilion. This created a unique location for local authors in the Kansas area to connect with fans and thousands of potential new fans, along with gaining further exposure from the festival website. Attendance for local authors is free and only requires a signup at the festival website.
“We’re very proud and honored to have Midnight Ryder Technologies as a sponsor for the Spring 2011 Kansas Authors’ Pavilion,” says Richard Cathey, Director of the Great Plains Renaissance Festival. “We feel their sponsorship and support adds more value to the event both in the form of further connections to local authors, and local community support.”
“For us this is a great fit,” says Davis Ray Sickmon, Jr, lead developer at Midnight Ryder Technologies, “A portion of the field we are building up is stand alone eBook readers for the iPhone and iPad. This allows us to deepen our connection with local authors from the business standpoint, and to help further publicize local authors – even if they don’t use our services!”
The Spring 2011 Kansas Authors’ Pavilion will be held April 16th & 17th, 2011, at the Spring Great Plains Renaissance Festival in Sedgwick County Park, Wichita, Kansas.
